Bible Parents

For people unhappy with their churchy parents - that disappointed them,

I want to remind you of Bible parents who failed at times.

We are all tremendously flawed creatures

who have to constantly struggle against our sin natures

to present a decent front,

hoping to get better as we go along.

Yet God made a way for them.

at some point in his life - initiated by his mother.

Did that deter Isaac from God?

While we don't know if Bathsheba conspired in...

or just conformed to...King David's lusts,

we do know that David led the charge that caused so much misery.

Yet - he repented,

and the Bible says that God was a man after God's own heart.

So, how did his son, Solomon, and David's other children deal with it?

Did it destroy their faith in God?
