The Children?

"What happens to the children of the de-churched?"

This question torments true Christians.
And I hope I have shown myself sensitive to your wounds
to the point that you will listen to me for two minutes about this matter.
.
When a young adult de-churches, and goes on their self-chosen path
do their mates, and the children they create, get some sort of pass from God?
Are they exempt from the requirements placed on every other human adult on the Judgment Day?
No.
.
There can only be two things more terrifying on the Judgment Day than the judgment of de-churched people.
1) The utter horror and feeling of betrayal of those spouses or mates, and the children of the de-churched,
when they realize this spouse/parent once knew God, and yet steered every part of their life away from God.
And here they are, before the Judgment Throne with no knowledge of God. They have been utterly betrayed.
.
2) On top of their own terror, the de-churched will have to accept responsibility for never telling their children
of the Gospel of Christ, by seeing the incredulous stares from those they betrayed with their silence.

This will haunt them through eternity.
