MESIRAH
Mesirah: When the Talmud defies the Proverbs.
'Mesirah' is the Jewish notion of not reporting 'Jew-against-Jew crimes' to outside civil authorities.
to outside civil authorities.
This article is about the cloak of secrecy surrounding systemic Childhood Sexual Abuse (CSA) in the world.
If you have been sexually abused, this is a part of the info you need - to get balance in your life.

From Wikipedia:
The source of the ban comes from the Bava Kamma (Hebrew: בבא קמא) section of the Babylonian Talmud.[4][5][6] The law was most likely instigated to ease Jewish life under Roman or Persian rule. This law is discussed in Babylonian Talmud by Rambam and in Shulchan Aruch.[7] Shulchan Aruch, however, states that in the cases where if Jews do not testify against other Jews in the gentile court, it will be obvious that Jews are covering up for each other, they should testify.[8][9]Maimonides states:
Whoever adjudicates in a non-Jewish court ... is wicked and it is as though he has reviled, blasphemed and rebelled against the law of Moses.[10]Maimonides further explains: "It is forbidden to hand over a Jew to the heathen, neither his person nor his goods, even if he is wicked and a sinner, even if he causes distress and pain to fellow-Jews. Whoever hands over a Jew to the heathen has no part in the next world. It is permitted to kill a moser (informant) wherever he is. It is even permitted to kill him before he has handed over (a fellow Jew)."[11]

A few thoughts on this Wiki article:
1) The Talmud is a compilation of opinions written to interpret the Torah, (The Books of Moses: the first five books of the Old Testament).
I am cautious about supplementary writings about God, such as the Talmud.
And yes, you should be thoroughly cautious even about this website, thoroughly verifying everything I say about the Bible.
2) Mesirah has been used to protect child molesters and other criminals.
Under mesirah it is permitted to kill an informant (moser).
If that is acceptable, why is it not better to kill the child-molester instead of the informant?
Again, why not just kill the child-molester, instead of the informant?
Is anyone listening?
It sounds like, under mesirah, justice is tilted toward the more powerful. see meme above.
It sounds like mesirah is just another type of plantation.
3) This Mesirah-complex seems to be a widespread, man-made virus, meant to protect the guilty and the organizations they belong to.
I cannot think of a single instance where protecting a child molester is ever a good idea. Especially in organized child-enterprises.
.
Mesirah seems to permeate many organizations that overlook the sexual abuse of children.
Here is a link about widespread organizational Childhood Sexual Abuse:

So what about 1 Corinthians 6, the prohibition on Christians suing each other?
6 If any of you has a dispute with another, do you dare to take it before the ungodly for judgment instead of before the Lord’s people?
2 Or do you not know that the Lord’s people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?
3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!
4 Therefore, if you have disputes about such matters, do you ask for a ruling from those whose way of life is scorned in the church?
5 I say this to shame you. Is it possible that there is nobody among you wise enough to judge a dispute between believers?
6 But instead, one brother takes another to court—and this in front of unbelievers!
etc...
Friends, there is a huge difference between a shorted paycheck and a raped child.
And this scripture talks about bringing such matters in front of the church.
