September 17, 2025. The earth’s population is just over 8.2 billion people. 

Every day, over 172,000 humans die. (This number does not include miscarriages and abortions) 

Many people die tragically. And even well-aged people that die naturally - are grieved over.
Yet most adults expect to wake up tomorrow morning - and believe they deserve to wake up. 

These same people get angry when faced with their own impending death 

– if they are fortunate enough to know when death is approaching.

 
Yet many people who expect to wake up tomorrow, they celebrate the sudden death of those they despise. So… how can they hold a right to wake up tomorrow – if they can wish others dead? 

Many people celebrated the death of Abraham Lincoln at the hands of John Wilkes Booth. 

I daresay even more people celebrated the death of John Wilkes Booth

- who no doubt saw himself as a hero, expecting to be praised.

 
People who think they deserve to wake up tomorrow - are poor mathematicians and poor theologians. In 2023, I attended my 50th high school reunion. Many empty seats. Empty seats 

are often empty because of health issues, sometimes caused by decades of lifestyle abuse.
Drugs, tobacco, too much alcohol, obesity, road rage and intentionally distracted driving – these abuses remove our options for long lives. And these abuses often kill others. So many people who think they are great parents actually kill their own kids by the way they drive.

 
Remove human selfishness tell me how many people die needless deaths each year.
 

People who live hazardly, with bad driving or drugs, or gun-play or extreme sports, or adultery - 

are eligible to die every day, at any age. A lifetime of self-indulgent self-abuse often means dying before age 60.

(The deadliest reality show is "My 600 Pound Life". 

Twelve participants have died in 11 years. Average age of death: 41.5 years)

 
When we pit our opinions against the laws of physics, the rules of body chemistry, etc. 

we see that our opinions are like dog poop in a fancy casserole. Bad opinions don't belong. 

Our wishful opinions are no match against the physical laws that govern our earth and our bodies, 

and the anger of other humans whom we betray. 

 
Anarchy is a major cause of early death. Some people hate to be told what to do, even if it benefits them. They simply hate authority. Look at how many people climb over guard rails and die, just because they hate to be told to stand where it is safe. 

They will do things differently just to prove they can.
How many of these anarchists die each year from self-initiated conflicts and crimes? 

And their relatives expect these known trouble-makers to live long lives? 

The earth’s laws, bio-laws and many human laws (the right to self-defense) don’t care about 

1) 'personal independence', or

2) mental illness. 

Gravity and fentanyl don't care about either of these two human issues.

If a person lives in the killable zone, don’t assume they will be at your next Christmas Dinner.

 
And what role does God play in ‘The World Theatre of the Macabre’?

 
God created Adam, then He created Eve. He gave us free wills. God created DNA and all its magnificent possibilities and all its possible hazards. He turned Adam and Eve loose and stepped back and let people operate. The bio-socio-political world we see now is the result of human free will, with a few people listening to God or the laws of physics, trying to calibrate the direction we move as a human race.

 
When people use their free wills for selfish purposes, we cannot blame God for untimely deaths.

But God is sovereign. Remember Annanias and Sapphira. (Acts: Chapter 5).

 I just came across a news article that might be tied into God's sovereignty;

His arranging circumstances to help someone.

A big truck driving on I-15 in Utah lost a tire, causing a multi-vehicle accident. 

Much damage, but no deaths, no serious injuries.

When law enforcement arrived to assist and investigate, they found the 28-year-old driver of the truck had locked his two half-sisters (12 and 14) in the refrigerated trailer of the truck. 

The refrigerated trailer was set at 30 degrees. (water freezes at 32 degrees.) 

They had been in there over two hours.

So, did God send an angel to yank a tire off the truck, 

then protect the other motorists from serious injury, just to save those two girls?

I suspect so.

God the Father sent His son Jesus to die - to save sinners, so...

Next question: Does God have the right to let one person be injured

just to save an unknown stranger?
